I wanted to become a teacher as long
as I can remember. Although I loved school, I struggled in some academic areas.
That’s why, when I finally started teaching, I worked with students one-on-one
as well. I learned from the beginning that numerous positive results
develop when individualized instruction is given. Tutoring is more than a
job to me. It has become my life's work.
It's so rewarding to see students who
are struggling to understand, become confident and successful
individuals. I also believe it’s important to have my individualized
services remain affordable. I want to reach as many children as possible.
Following the S.U.E. principle (Study,
Understand, Excel), I strive to achieve for each one of my students the
following:
- Target all areas that are in need
of improvement
- Improve academic performance
- Open up and maintain lines of
communication with student's teachers and parents
- Promote goals for
further growth and enrichment
